It can be overwhelming to know what you might need or not need when going to Disney, and I'm here to help!
I have 4 kiddos and have been traveling since I got my drivers license, I have overpacked, underpacked, forgotten and overlooked. I have traveled solo, the whole fam and just me with the kids. We've done Disney in all seasons, while there's different needs for different seasons, there are things you'll always need too!
Here's your basic packing list, this is everything from teenagers to infants, take what applies to you and leave the rest. I recommend copying and pasting this list into a note in your phone to personalize. My list gets broken down by person and does not get checked off until I have personally seen it in the suitcase!
Clothes:
1 Outfit per day (plus at least one extra for little ones or accident prone kiddos)
Underwear (how many times will you and/or your family change them? My little girls do not every single day so we only pack what I know we need)
Bras (don't forget budding tweens)
Nursing tanks if you are currently breastfeeding
Socks (assuming you are bringing shoes you'll need socks with)
Pajama's (how many times do you wear them before changing? That'll help you figure out how many to pack)
Extra shoes (don't skip this one, even if you wear the best shoes you're going to want to change into something else!)
Diapers, we pack 4-6 per day depending on how old the baby is
Wipes, honestly even if you don't have a baby these can be helpful on any trip!
Formal outfit? Are you dressing up for a special event or dinner?
Formal shoes to match the formal outfit?
Comfort clothes (maybe a hoodie and or pair of sweats or basketball shorts for lounging?)
Toiletries:
Toothbrush and travel case (I save the ones the dentist gives to use)
Tooth paste (again, those little samples the dentist sends home are perfect!)
Floss or flossers
Bodywash
Loofah If you don't use washcloths (if you're staying in an airbnb they may not provide wash cloths)
Shampoo
Conditioner (I get refillable containers from walmart or Target and fill with my regular products)
Beard wash and/or oil for your favorite lumberjack?
Shaving cream
Razors
Hair stuff (brush, comb, hair ties, product, styling tools)
Glasses
Extra contacts (I have lost one on a trip and had to spend the rest of the trip only able to see out of one eye)
Contact solution and container (again, travel size help save so much space!)
Deodorant, do NOT forget the deodorant!
Makeup, I have mine in a small plastic bin for traveling. That way it's contained if anything spills
Makeup remover/wipes (remover always leaks for me so I like to bring wipes instead)
Feminine hygiene items
Miscellaneous:
Bathing suits and coverups
additional underwear if your boys like the extra protection
Beach towels if your resort does not supply them (Disney does)
Swim Diapers
Sunscreen
Aloe for potential sunburn
Goggles for underwater swimming
Collapsible bag for all the pool things
Something to put dirty laundry in. I have a collapsible hamper for each person and a trash bag in their suitcase to transfer it home in
Melatonin (somtimes it's hard to settle down away from home)
Poopouri (when sharing a single bathroom this is huge!)
Ponchos, it's going to rain and the ones sold in the parks are $25+
Stroller cover, if I'm helping you with a stroller rental it comes with a cover. If you're bringing your own make sure to bring something! I bought a clear shower curtain liner from the Dollar Tree, they also make them to fit on Amazon.
Stuff from the kitchen:
Supplements/Vitamins
Medication(s)
Morning of Stuff
noise machines if we have room, if not we use a loop on spotify
baby monitor If staying in a bigger place
pillows if you need your own (check out space saver bags if you bring them)
makeup you couldn't pack until now
CHARGERS, phone, watch, tablet, headphones/earbuds, magic baaaaands, neck fans, power packs
I have travel size of all our toiletries, if you do not, add the ones you need until the day you leave to this list!
Extra's
Magic Bands (can be purchased through your My Disney Experience app)
Neck fans
Cooling towels
Refillable water bottles (consider one with a filter in It for that nasty FL water, we like Brita!)
Moleskin/Blister pads like these
Portable power pack to charge your phone. If you choose Fuel Rod, you can swap out a dead one for a fully charged one in the parks for free! They're much cheaper for purchase on Amazon though.
I hope this helps! Happy packing!
