Did you see my post about InboxDollars? If you missed it you can catch it here.

One of the offers they have listed is for Upside, the cash back gas app. This is a great way to stack a good deal. Sign up for InboxDollars (I'd love it if you use my referral link) and then hit 'offers'. You'll see the one for Upside where you get $15 back, click that and go through the prompts to create a new account. If you don't want the hassle of going through Inbox Dollars you can just download the app from the app store and use my referral code: SAMANTHA95462 to help us both get credit. You'll get .20 back or more (per gallon) of your first fill up (PLUS $15 on your InboxDollars account if you use their referral code).

A couple things to note - Inbox Dollars is not an app, although you can create a button to easily access it on your homescreen. If you don't know how to do that just ask me! I may add that to the blog about the website.

Second, pay attention to the details of the deal! It'll tell you how long it may take until you see the money pending in your account. I like to write down somewhere when to follow up and make sure the credit is in my account

This goes for all of their deals, some deals won't even show pending for 10 days.

Very minimal effort for roughly $20 of free money! That's like a couple gallons of gas right?! ;)

If you're curious how Upside works, I can help!

You'll see a map and/or list of gas stations near you with cents per gallon back, that first fill up will be a lot which is awesome. I like to go for .10 or more cents back per gallon.

Most deals now prompt you to claim the deal, then check in when you arrive BEFORE you pump your gas. The way it knows that you did is because it asks for the first 6 and last 4 of your card number. I know not everyone is going to be ok with that, and to each their own.

The way it used to work was you'd claim the deal, have 20 minutes to pump and get your receipt, and then upload a photo of the receipt. Some gas stations are still like this so just be mindful of that.

There are some deals for restaurants and grocery stores as well! So far from what I've seen they only want you to upload your receipt, after claiming the deal of course.

I love to check all of my cash back apps when we go out to eat, for Valentines day I stacked all the things. Rakuten had cash back (I linked my card), Upside had cash back, I paid with a cash back CC (and then paid it right off) plus we had a coupon! That was a fun deal!
