My Baby Ate My Coupon

Today I went to Walmart with the sole purpose of purchasing items with a high point value! I do my best not to get sucked into buying things I don't/won't use. So we only bought things we would have normally, but maybe don't need right this second.

My baby ate my coupon! Those quick sticky fingers grabbed it up faster than I could stop her. Life with a 6 month old keeps us busy!

On top of one of these bonus points, the local flyers that landed in my mailbox had a pretty decent coupon! One of my neighbors came to the rescue and gave me hers. Aaaaaaaannd I promptly forgot to use it! I would say it was the fault of the RUDE cashier at Walmart but I think I probably would've forgotten it either way. Such is life though right? I may go back because this deal can be used more than once!

I curated my list off the Fetch App, this one of the receipt scanning apps. Most of the time I get 25 ish points for scanning a receipt but this time I scored 11,741 points! The screen lit up and a little cartoon played about a personal record, it was so fun! Here's what I got:

I'm tempted to tell you why I bought each item but that really doesn't matter. I have this weird thing where I feel the need to show and justify my purchases, also I know crunchy moms are judging me hardcore. I would love to be totally crunchy but do not have time, patience or money for a full conversion. Also my husband and son like to smell good.. Now I did purchase other things as well that are not pictured, I'm just showing you what it was that got these points!

I'm pretty dang proud of this haul! I don't ever want to buy something that I won't use or am only buying to get the points, that defeats the purpose. So this was a win! To put it in perspective, these points total about $8 cash back. Plus when you purchase with a cashback credit card you can earn back even more!
